Albadi School, RD du Congo

The Albadi home for Orphaned and Vulnerable Children houses 10 children, all boys, from various backgrounds.

Many of welcomed boys were street children or had been accused of witchcraft, or left with relatives after their parents rejected them.
Since its creation in 2001, the Albadi School has also cared for children born to parents who are the victims of HIV/AIDS. The school offers care, education, and vocational training to children and teenagers in a family environment in which the human being has value and dignity.

The school is now working at turning the home into a House of Transition to reinsert a maximum number of children into their families.
